Occupational Therapist

Occupational therapists aid individuals of varying ages with limited
abilities in establishing, developing, and/or maintaining their capacity to
carry out daily functions and tasks.
Through individualized therapy sessions, they collaborate closely with
patients to address their unique needs, aiming to enhance their quality of
life and foster a sense of independence.
Occupational therapy encompasses the enhancement of physical, mental,
social, and emotional aspects contributing to patients' disabilities.
Typically, occupational therapist roles are found in nursing care
facilities, hospitals, and private occupational therapy practices.
Given the demanding nature of the job, both physically and emotionally,
occupational therapists are ideally in good health.
Occupational therapist positions are available across different experience
levels and settings. A master's degree is typically the minimum requirement
for entry into the field. Additionally, eligible applicants must pass the
mandated national certification exam. Further education and certifications
may facilitate access to specialized and advanced roles.
