Hospital Queen Elizabeth is the largest government hospital in Sabah located in Kota Kinabalu. The Hospital was formerly known as Jesselton Hospital when it completed in 1957. The Hospital was changed to present name in conjunction with the contribution from the British government. Queen Elizabeth has made her visit to this Hospital on 1971.

The hospital was built with the main block at the end of the 1970's by the Public Works Department (PWD) and the block was handed over to the Ministry of Health on 1981. The main block is an 8-storey building.

The Hospital is a 589 beds hospital and it is a state general hospital providing specialist services for outpatient and inpatient.
