Hospital Seri Manjung is the government hospital located in Seri
Manjung, Lumut, Perak. The Hospital was built on 1928 on a hill near
the Lumut town with an overall area of 20 acres and was known as
Hospital Lumut.
With the rapid development of Manjung district and the construction
of Royal Malaysian Navy Base there, Hospital Lumut is no longer able
to cope with the total population increased dramatically. New
hospital has been proposed in line with the rapid growth to replace
the existing hospital with well-equipped and able to provide certain
specialized services for the population there.
The construction of new hospital started on 1992 and completed 2
years later. The new hospital then renamed to
Hospital Seri Manjung and started operating in March 1995 with
various specialized services.
